 Dong Thap University (DThU) (Vietnamese: Đại hồc Đồng Tháp) is a Vietnamese public university located in Cao Lãnh City, Dong Thap Province. It is one of the teaching and research institutions in the Mekong Delta region of Vietnam. The school was founded in 1989. On January 10, 2003, the authorities issued a decree raising the school's official status from a professional college to a university. On September 4, 2008, officials expanded the school's scope and approved the name change to Dong Thap University. In 2017, the university's educational programs received full accreditation and certification from the Vietnam National University System. In the 2016–2017 academic year, this university became the first university in the Mekong Delta to receive a certificate according to the quality standards of the Ministry of Education and Training. 

    Dong Thap University (DThU) has a vision, namely to become a center for high-quality scientific training and research in Vietnam and Southeast Asia, and its mission is: To train highly qualified and multidisciplinary human resources, where educational science and teacher training are the core; conducting scientific research and providing community service and contributing to the socio-economic development of the Mekong Delta and the entire country Constructivist, Professional, Integrated, and Core Values: Quality, creativity, cooperation, responsibility, and friendliness. Dong Thap University (DThU) has a strategic location that is green and neat to look at. This university has 11 faculties and 32 departments, complete campus facilities such as libraries, badminton courts, swimming pools, laboratories, elevators, volleyball courts, football fields, dormitories with complete facilities, kitchens for student dormitories, and many types of offices.

    This university collaborates with Future School, which is a private school in Cao Lãnh City, Dong Thap Province, Vietnam. This school is a place for student exchange practicums to teach at Dong Thap University for 26 days.

Future School

    Future School is a private school located in Cao Lãnh City, Dong Thap Province, implementing a six-day learning system, or from Monday to Saturday. The teaching system starts from pre-school ages six months to five years; primary school classes start from ages 6 to 10 years, or grades one to five; and secondary schools start from ages 11 to 14 years, or grades 6 to nine. Some of the students wore uniforms, white shirts, and brown trousers, and some of them wore loose clothes, wearing flip-flops. This future school class starts at 07.30 am and ends atat 17.00 pm. The learning time for each session is 40 minutes, to be marked by an alarm sound. then lunch at 11 o'clock, and at 12 o'clock, the students and teachers stop all activities and take a nap, but not only the students and teachers but the library staff and others all sleep. At exactly 13.00, everyone returned to their activities: students returned to studying, and teachers returned to teaching.

 Future School is a very orderly school. Every time students and teachers enter the classroom, they have to take off their sandals and shoes. The classroom tools or facilities used in class include TV, whiteboards, and workbooks. Every time students are given an assignment, they work directly on the book as well as musical instruments such as guitar, piano, and others as learning media or applications. Before starting class, when the teacher enters the classroom, students must stand up to greet the teacher, like "Good morning or afternoon", according to the situation, and if there are two teachers and one of them is sitting at the back when greeting the student, they must turn back to greet the teacher in the class. Each class has book drawers, bags, a place to store sandals and helmets, and a place to store bedding such as blankets and pillows. Food and drinks are prepared by the school.
